IRFS Opening Ceremony: The Road to Peace and Right Conduct

Held at the Buchcick Hall of the University of San Carlos, South Campus, this year's IRFS Opening Ceremony had a series of different activities intended to fully welcome the track month, namely the #StoryaTa forum of the #PeaceNata campaign, the freshies' Pinning Ceremony, and the Protocol and Ettiquette discussion with IRFS 142 instuctor Ms. Sheida Henry.

IRFS Pinning Ceremony: The Start of a Journey

The Pinning Ceremony transcends from a rite to a right (both aspects). It is a right for us IRFS students to be given this rite and at the same time it becomes a right thing for us to undergo because it teaches us to be model citizens not merely of the Southeast Asian community but of the international community we all share.

CCYD, #PeaceNata commemorate 9/11

On its 14th anniversary, the Carolinian Circle of Young Diplomats (CCYD) co-organized a 9/11 commemoration with the #PeaceNata campaign on September 11, 2015 at the American Corner, USC Downtown Campus.

IRFS Celebrates International Day of Democracy

The International Day of Democracy is a celebration of years of democratization and the success democracies have been in the international world by promoting the supremacy of the written law and the sanctity of human rights and dignity. The main theme for this year was: “Space for Civil Society”.

Happy International Day of Peace!

The Carolinian Circle of young Diplomats took part in this commemoration through sharing #imsorry and #InternationalDayofPeace posts, sharing photos online, as well as interviewing fellow Carolinians on their thoughts on peace.

Cultivating Peace Through Food

The activity simply aimed to foster solidarity and fraternity between students and generate discussions about peace vis-a-vis current global concerns over lunch.

IRFS Closing Ceremony

September 25, 2015

The evening event served as a diplomatic gathering slash soiree in the City Hall's Session Hall. The Head of Track, Atty. Archill Niña Faller Capistrano, IRFS alumna Danica Blanche Fernandez, and Diplomatic Protocol professor Ms. Shieda Henry also graced the venue with their presence.
