On the evening of March 19, 2016, International Relations and Foreign Service (IRFS) students communed at Cebu City Social Hall to celebrate "Denouement: CCYD Induction of New Members of Parliament (MPs), Bequeathal and CODEX Launch", the final part of the 2015-2016 Parliament's "Regency: A World's Faire". Also in attendance are IRFS 142 - Protocol instructor Ms. Sheida Henry, former Prime Minister Mr. Leonell Cawayan, former Deputy Prime Minister Ms. Janine Galang, and former Audit Chancellor Ms. Danica Blanche Fernandez.

 

The event started at 7pm with IRFS Head of Track Atty. Archill Niña Capistrano presenting her opening remarks and Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Vene Seane Aljas giving the ceremonial toast. This was followed by a feast wherein the attendees were serenaded by Ms. Patricia Piramide, Ms. Phya Barrientos, and Documentation Minister Rt. Hon. Alliza Faye Palgan. Before the Induction Ceremony, Protocol Minister Rt. Hon. Daniel Orin Levi Alatraca introduced the Code of Discipline, Etiquette, and Excellence (CODEX), a handbook detailing the guidelines for proper decorum concerning IRFS and CCYD. The Past Academic Year’s activities and achievements of the current government were also projected during dinner. The election and appointment of 2016-2017 officers then commenced with Exemplar member Hon. Aurem Villaflor presiding the entire ceremony. Meanwhile, the current government, along with the HoT, were ask to leave the area to say their farewells and express their thanks towards each other.
