CCYD Elections 2016

From February 18 to 25, 2016, International Relations and Foreign Service (IRFS) students exercised their right to suffrage during the annual Carolinian Circle of Young Diplomats (CCYD) elections. Newly elected officials shall serve as members of the CCYD parliament during the upcoming academic year 2016-2017. Like the first semester of 2015, this event was accomplished completely through social media, and divided into two segments.

The first was the Online Campaign. Major Political Science (POSC) parties - Kasamahan ng mga Kabataan para sa Pambansang Demokrasya (KKPD), Coalitition of Democrats (CODE), and Tuwid Abante sa Pagbabago at Tagumpay (TAPAT) - released their platforms and a list of candidates running under their banner. All three can be found in the IRFS-CCYD Facebook page. Then came the Online Voting, done via Google Docs. The final results were released on February 25, 2016.

Here's the list of elected candidates to the House of Commons to the CCYD Parliament A.Y. 2016 - 2017.
